Information You Send Directly
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search box is sent to the outside provider that runs that result service. Kingsville Residents Directory does not retain a copy of those searches on its own servers. If you email us, we receive the information in your message and use it to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Like most websites, hosting services keep standard logs such as IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We review that information in aggregate for security, reliability, and page-use trends. Cookies or similar tools may be used for basic analytics and, where relevant, advertising measurement.
How Limited Data Is Used
Limited data supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
External Websites and Tools
Links lead to county and state portals, library collections, archives, and outside search services. Their own privacy notices control information submitted on those destinations. This also applies to sponsored search results supplied by another company.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
Safeguarding Information
The site uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational reasons described above. No user accounts are offered here, so Kingsville Residents Directory does not hold a visitor password or user profile.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain processing of personal data. Texas's Data Privacy and Security Act, enacted as HB 4 and effective July 1, 2024, provides such rights in applicable settings; Texas state and local government entities are outside that Act. Because we keep little data, a request usually involves checking the contact mailbox and relevant logs, then removing what is found. Use the Contact page. Public records held by Texas, Kleberg County, or City of Kingsville custodians remain outside our control and must be addressed to that custodian.
Policy Updates
Any revision will be posted here. Continued use after the revised policy appears indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
